Hi,

I'm hoping someone might have setup the new "security model" in Aurora and
can explain how it is supposed to work.

I think I understand the concept, which is that all S21 database files
should be owned by AULOWNER and that there should be no public authority.
All programs are compiled with User profile set to *OWNER (i.e. AULOWNER),
which means that they "adopt" this authority, and the individual users do
not need to be granted authority to the files.

I have two problems with this

1. How to compile programs so that the user profile is *OWNER. When I do
this it seems to be ignored. CHGPGM works, though.

2. How to automatically create new database files with the appropriate
authority for AULDBUSER (*CHANGE) as well as being owned by AULOWNER. Or
do we also have to do that manually?

By the way, we are not using this - all users currently have AULOWNER as
their group profile, which gets round the problem.

Best Regards
Chris
