The old data-take-on modules worked well after you got the flat file correct
and all the needed defaults. It is the defaults that take a while to debug.
One thing is to look at the .connect (dot connect) product from Geac System
21. They have some of the connectors created to move data from what ever to
System 21. The system can be automated thru MQ Series using HTML, Excel,
etc. This maybe a better way to go than trying to do all the trial and error
work yourself. Once you see this process work, you may want other
applications to be integrated with this process.
