Randy SYSTEM21 is just an example you need to substitute the user name of the
user you wish to submit jobs for in place of SYSTEM21.

Hope that helps :)

Stephen,

I've tried granting authority but object system21 is not found.
Thanks,
Randy

You need to grant object authority to the user profile object that you
want to submit jobs for allowing the user the scheduler is submitted
under *USE authority.

E.g. Job scheduler is submitted using QPGMR as the user profile and the
user you want to run jobs for is SYSTEM21.

The system command to enter would be as follows

GRTOBJAUT OBJ(SYSTEM21) OBJTYPE(*USRPRF) USER(QPGMR) AUT(*USE)

Once this is done QPGMR has the correct authority to use SYSTEM21's user
profile for the job submission.

Subject: [SYSTEM21] Managing AutoDay End Jobs

Dear System 21 Users,

I've added a job through the Manage AutoDay-end Jobs and wanted to
change the user(Process Application Task) to a specific user. It told
me

Note: The User running the Scheduled Job Processor Job (JOBSCH) will

need to have Read Authority (*USE) to the User Profile Object of the

User specified to run the Task.

I cannot find the place to add/change users to accommodate this.

How do I do this?

Thanks in advance

Randy Wolf
