If you have the file edit utility DBU, you can DBU the file and press F14 to
see select/omit criteria, files joined, etc..

But, if you don't have that (a great tool btw), then you can use the OS/400
command DSPFD

If the file is a joined logical file, you will see stuff like this:

  Join description  . . . . . . . . . . . . . : JOIN       ( 1  2)
