Hi everyone,

Don't know in which version you are in but there is a function key in purchase
order entry that allows the user to enter a delivery address for that order.

Delivery addresses maintained in 5/PMM should be only the usual addresses for
the company. When you want to receive goods in a different place you can put
this directly in the order.

At this moment I don't recall if you can enable/disable this function key for
some users through Manager/400.

It may be set up that way to stop some one setting a delivery address for
that Porsche they've always wanted.

Hi Alan,

It just because the user is not authorize to go to that menu.
Therefore, you have to set it up on the authoraization user/menu.

1. write command strm400 on the command line
2. select 5, enter
3. select 4 to maintain menu, enter
4. write the menu, enter
5. press F8
6. press enter
7. select the user name
8. you can select the menu by putting 3 on the left side of the name
9 put one to the menu you want to authorize for that user.

That's all.

Good luck

Regards,
Imam Daru

I have a purchasing rep who wants access to 5/PMM to set up/maintain
receiving addresses four outsource locations. Currently she does not access
to this menu option. I was not the one who set all this up and I am
wondering if there is a best-practices or other issue that would explain
why
a purchasing person would not be able to do this.

Thanks

Alan
