This is one of those strange compiler things.   If you can change the
program to be an SQLRPG program it picks up the DATEISO.   I am not sure on
the processing, have never tried,  but it does pick it up!

Help!

Is there any way I can convert/access an ISO date field within an RPG III
program - the RPG III compiler is simply ignoring the field with message:
QRG7151  Severity 00 The record format contains DATE/TIME/TIMSTAMP
fields.........ignored.
