Perform a WRKOBJLCK IPGMMF4/AMM10PHY *FILE this will tell you what is
locking this option. If the Scheduler is in progress, it may well be
locking the file preventing you from gaining access. If someone is
maintaining the Auto Day Start or Auto Day End jobs, then they will also
have a record lock on the file.

As soon as the the scheduler completes and goes back to "sleep" or you find
out who is maintaining the ADS or ADE jobs and get them out, the lock will
be removed. There is no field that MM updates, it simply tries to
establish an exclusive lock on the file (AMM10PHY).

Hope this helps

Would anyone know which file would contain the record lock
flag for
the Job Scheduler?? When trying to access option 3 (Job Scheduler) in
Machine Manager, it states:"However another user is already performing this
function or has locked required objects." No one is currently in this
application!!

Thanks
Rob
