Rachel,

Thanks. I was able to get the answer. As it turns out, the secret is the
physical location of the TM1 license file. If it is not in the WINNT
directory, the user automatically becomes a client. If the license file is
in the WINNT directory, the user is a Developer.

When you are installing the software select custom setup, then select the
components Perspectives 7 and Architect 7.

Rachel,

You may be on to something. How do I make someone a developer?

TM1 users are set up as clients or developers.
The dimension worksheet menu option is on the developer
menu but not on the client menu. Mabye this is why you do not have
the option.

I am trying to find out how to edit a Dimension worksheet, but can not seem
to find the menu option anywhere.

The Help file on TM1 through Excel says the following:

1 From your spreadsheet menubar, choose TM1 Dimension WorkSheets Open.

2 Apply edits.

3 Choose TM1 Dimension WorkSheets Save to compile and save the edited
dimension.

I have the TM1 menu, but Dimension Worksheets does not appear there.

Does anyone know where to find this option or another way to get there?

We are using Perspectives version 7.

Thanks,
