You mean the technical documentation provided by Geac isn't sufficient for you?

I personally swear by Hawkeye Pathfinder, and miss it terribly where I am now.
The trick to getting the data reliable for a S/21 application is in the
substitution tables, where you point it to when the source isn't found (like
the phantom OSLINX3 libraries, etc.).

We have the ASC equivalent installed (Aspect, I think), but I haven't gotten to
dig into it to see if its functionality is similar to Pathfinder.

Subject: [SYS21] Documentation Tools

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year.

Does anyone have any suggestions for documentation packages? Preferably
AS/400 based. I looked at Hawkeye several years and if I remember correctly
it had difficulty working with some of the cross referencing of libraries
and custom stuff in System 21. I also understand that this package is
basically the same as it was in the 80's.

Is anyone using Advanced Systems Concepts (ASC) Abstract product? This
appears to do a lot of the same things as Hawkeye but is more GUI based and
interfaces with Visio to do things like flow charting.

Any and all comments appreciated.

Thanks--
