I use this in my column         DATE( CDAT32, CYYMMDD )
Then I used edit masks to change that to MM/DD/YY

I can manage to do this the other way ie convert a jba date to a normal
calendar date.
 eg 1021225   to  25/12/02 but I need to reverse this.
