I have had an idea for a process to get promise dates from purchasing or
production prior to adding a sales order line so that the correct due date can
be entered (given the absence of stock, WIP or an o/s P/O!). If during order
entry an order line could be suspended pending action by the other departments
then a regular report could be printed of the value or orders suspended pending
action. When the promise date is given it is added as the due date and the
suspension released.

This all depends on being able to suspend at order line level rather than on
the trailer detail (not that I can do that at the moment, can the facility be
turned on/off anywhere?)

So anyone got any suggestion as to how to suspend an order line or have some
neat way of achieving the same "held pending action" effect.
