Glad to see this problem acknowledged. In October 2000 we installed 3.5.2
(Style) and the analysis transaction file (FLP0018) was corrupt with extraneous
records for every payment beyond the cutover date.

If anyone is interested, the fix that worked for us was to create a uniquely
keyed copy of FLP0018 specifying ETYP18, PREF18 and SREF18 as the key. Then
doing a sequential copy of FLP0018 into this file (specifying to allow errors)
dropped the appropriate bogus records. This may not work for everyone but,
since we have a relatively small number of 1099s, it was easy to verify the new
totals against the payment history inquiry. Of course this was in a
development environment (the production file is still corrupt).

We also chased down the source of the bogus records but didn't attempt a fix (if
you've seen GEAC source you understand).
