Gilbert,

Just for the record - our support team in the Americas is really doing a
terrific job...!!!

For the benefit of the list - unless I am sorely mistaken - you live and work on
the beautiful island of Mauritius which is just off the east coast of southern
Africa, just east of Madagascar...

I have no idea who or where your support team is... But from what you said in
your earlier post their response to your complaint was less than sympathetic...
Admittedly, your problem will probably prove most challenging to solve... Given
the intermittent nature, I can understand how someone may be less than
enthusiastic to attempt to tackle it... But fear of failure should not prevent
a talented professional from making a valiant attempt to solve this mysterious
problem...

I'm sure that if you persist you will arrive at an acceptable solution...
Surely there are some really talented technical analysts in your part of the
world who can figure this one out...

Please let us know what you eventually discover...

Regards...

PS - I know you are in the middle of winter there and I hope you are not
suffering from too much cold weather... It must be nearly 70 degrees Fahrenheit
there today...??? Burrrrrrrr...!!!

Hello Jeff,
Thanks for your valuable contribution. You are confirming our impression
that support is sometimes poor
Additional info :
Current S21 version : V352b SP3 . Our Financials went live under that
version/sp in July 2000. We installed the
V352b Service packs 1&2 late 1999 in view of Y2K and proceeded with SP3
early 2000.
We have the standard Financials with some mods in A/R for reporting
purposes.
Nothing has been changed in the backgroung update programs (PLUPDATE ,
GLUPDATE) and AP to GL
interface is native.

We will have to go back to GEAC.
Best regards
