We found this problem in cash posting.  The problem relates to input fields
in a file in the program being named the same as the fields in the LDA, i.e.
L#USER and L#TERM.  When the file is read, it reads records belonging to
another user and inadvertently changes the LDA.  The simple solution is to
rename the fields in the file to have a different name.  It is a very simple
fix but it took weeks to identify the problem.  There are a number of
programs which have this problem.
