Title: Converting vendors from Italian Lira to the Euro
Eva,

Geac have two new applications that are specifically for this purpose.  The applications are used for converting information for accounts (customers, vendors, or GL) from their original native countries currency (in your example Lira) to the Euro.  The application codes for these are TX and EB and are available free of charge from Geac (providing you are on maintenance).

You will have to check with Geac, however, as I believe that you will have to be at 352b service pack 3 to have full Euro functionality.

I hope this is of some help.

Regards,
John

We need to convert many of our Italian vendors from Lira to Euro.  I don't know an easy way of doing this?  Have any of you done this conversion from one currency to another and if so how do you do that without setting up new vendor codes and losing all of your purchasing history!!!!

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
