Re: Blanket PO's vs Scheduled PO's -> What's the difference?

Do you Vendor Schedule these Items?

The system does not like blankets with VS at all!

We have experienced negative total PO quantities and other weirdness.
Also, at 3.5.2 SP3 the system will not allow you to create a PO first and
then relate it to a contract anyway and the contract created PO is
scheduled.

However, if it's not a Vendor Scheduled item (contract) Blankets work
great.

We currently use scheduled PO's, but I am wondering what the  ramifications
would be if we switched to blanket.   We are thinking it  would be simpler
to amend PO's and receive parts because the qty's of the  deliveries don't
have to equal the total PO amount.

Any problems with 3  way match, etc?   Any thoughts would be
appreciated...
