One technique JBA uses is to test for the existance of certain objects in
the library list of the current job to discover if certain modules are in
use at a particular installation... If the object is not found the program
logic skips over that module i.e. like Transport Planning... You should
test this in a Test Environment or Test World before you do it but I
believe that removing the Transport Planning Libraries from all of your
application's library lists will solve your problem...

Since you're not going to buy it and use it you need to 'un-install' it...
By removing all of the TP libraries from the APG25PHY file that is
effectively what you are doing... Your Geac support team should be able to
provide you with further assistance if required...

I caution you to make backups of IPGCFF4/APG25PHY before you change it and
test in another world or environment first...!!!

Good luck...

  Subject Transport Planning Background tasks
  :

We've been starting and ending the Transport Planning Background tasks
through Machine Manager. This was necessary (even though we do not use the
Transport planning application), because at some point we had one of the TP
data queues full. Note that we are using advanced order entry application.
JBA recommended that these background tasks be run to prevent recurrence
of the problem.
Now that the authorisation code for TP has expired, we are of course unable
to run the monitors. Since we do not intend to purchase TP, we fear that
the proble might recur. Has anyone faced to the same problem?
Thanks
