Title: RE: Collection tool

Mark Newsome from Studley gave a presentation on the credit diary at the first Financial Users meeting in Las Vegas in September 1999.  But at that time it was not available for 'Style'. product.  Haven't heard anything about it since.

I seem to recall JBA talking about a 3rd party package called CERG that did
just this and worked with JBA.  It was a complete Credit Management system.
I believe, however, that product was dropped (see JBA/Geac Website under UK
Financial SIG March 99).  I also believe JBA markets some workflow
instructions called Credit Diary in @ctive Enterprise series precisely for
what you're talking about.

Is anyone aware of any add on collection programs to assist the Collections
Dept.?  We're actually looking for something that would alert the collectors
on follow up's without running text diary reports and having to scan through
those for the ones that need callbacks.  We have a large number of customers
which makes that rather time consuming and we know there are collection
packages available that would alert the credit manager and those responsible
for collections as to which customers needed to be followed up on a daily
basis, but we do not know if there are any specifically designed to work
with System 21.
