Jeff,

There is a database fix PTF (group PTF SF99104) that you will need to order
from IBM to fix certain SQL problems. This will not be part of the
cumulative PTF package, you need to specifically order it. Apply if after
you apply all other PTF's from IBM. Following is an exert from the notice
about the PTF:

(snip)
System 21 & OS/400 V4R4M0
   Date : 08/02/99 Version : N/A Number : 335 Issue : 1.0
   Problem
It has been reported that there is a problem for customers who are running
System 21 on OS/400 level V4R4M0 which affects areas which use Imbedded SQL
within RPG programs. This affects a large number of programs within System
   21 including Invoice Print,
This affects a number of System 21 options including:-
   Invoice Print
   Item Master Re-cost
   Run MPS
The problem has been found to be a known OS/400 problem.
   Resolution
The problem can be resolved by applying the OS/400 database fix pack (group
PTF SF99104) dated 6th July 1999 or later.
You can check whether this database fix pack has been applied by looking for
the dataarea SF99104 in library QSYS. If it exists, the contents display
what was the release date of the fix pack applied.

We are planning to upgrade our 720 from V4R3 to V4R4 on Labor Day weekend
and thought I would check the list to see if anyone has any experience
running JBA on that version of OS/400...? And if so, have you encountered
any problems...?

I am interested to know of any problems with the host software as well as
any possible glitches with the Explorer package as well...?

Thanks in advance...
