Well, to put it simply, if your contract does not state that you get source code, future software deliveries from GEAC/JBA will not contain source. Its critical that you and perhaps your legal advisors review your contract so that you and your organization are fully aware of what GEAC/JBA must provide.
 
There was a posting a while back from Harry Debes, president of the GEAC ERP division. He went to some length to clarify GEAC's source code position. Perhaps the list owner would be able to make the posting available to you.
