  • Subject: JBA and MOOPI--Berclain/Baan Supply Chain

Has anyone in the group seen or done an implementation of what used to be
called MOOPI, constraint based scheduling, and JBA? Berclain (spelling?)
was acquired by Baan and now markets a family of products of which we have
interest in Scheduling and Execution. These are constraint based, finite
scheduling and shop floor data collection/integration modules. We are
running JBA on an AS/400 and generally like it, but need more capability in
the manufacturing scheduling/execution areas. We are considering either
trying to interface JBA to this stuff or perhaps just moving away from JBA
altogether.

Thanks for the help.
