generated by VS from a WSDL.

If it's a SOAP web service, there should be a WSDL..usually
http://server/webservice?wsdl

You can examine the service using SoapUI

You could manually build the required calls, or you could try using Thomas
Raddatz's WSDL2RPG which will generate RPG procedures needed to call the
web services using Scott's HTTP API from the WSDL.
