Hi Jon,

I don't know the answer to that, but I did port some C code to the AS/400
around 1993 and it was surprisingly easy. IIRC, nearly all the code
changes required had to do with a different default size for integers, and
I didn't have to make very many changes at all.

Porting C to IBM i is still likely easier than most would anticipate,
assuming the volume of code and number of code library dependencies is
fairly small, and you're not porting user interface type code (i.e. GUI to
green screen).
