If you decide to look at something outside of RPG, take a look at our AutoMate Windows process automation software.

You can AutoMate Active Directory reporting and about 600 other Windows based activities and processes.

subject: Reading LDAP

I have a RPG program that I have used for years to read LDAP(Microsoft) Based on this, I create reports that are used for annual user reviews.

I now have the situation where there are groups(or subfolders) in the LDAP. For Instance there is a group(AUDIT) that contains several users that are outside auditors)

My program doesn't pick up these groups/users and I really have no idea how to, or even if it is possible to read these .

Any idea how I can force the program to read these

I use SamAccountName=* for the filter
