Is the file name quoted? Try it with quotes around the name value to take care of embedded spaces.

I need help. I have loaded the POI and other libraries onto the

I am stuck with an error trying to open the spreadsheet with the
hssf_Open(path_and_filename). It errors out and the job log shows that
the file is not found.

1. The file name and path is long, over 100 characters. Is this a
problem?

2. The file name contains blanks. Is this a problem?

3. I cannot debug the HSSFR4 code. The compiler jumps over it and
will
not allow me to put in a break point. I am using the Java/GUI debugger
included with iAccess.

Any suggestions would help.

TIA
