SFLSIZ(12) = SFLPAG(12). Do you really mean you want to delete line # 12 of the subfile? or do you intend to allow users to delete line(s) 1 thru 12?

I wonder if it would be easier to load the data into a 12-element array and then load the subfile from the array? Then, when a user deletes or changes a line of the subfile, you have the program clear or change the corresponding line in the array. Then, just clear the subfile and reload the subfile from the newer information in the array.
