Bob,

Do you have the DEBUG(*YES) option in your H Specs (or whatever its
equivalent in the new free formats)?

IIRC, externally-described input file fields are limited to those that are
referenced in the program. DEBUG(*YES) changes that mode of operation to
include all fields, even those that aren't used in the program.
