You are correct. I tell you, I tried this yesterday and it did not work.
Today it does.

Darren,

This is what the manual says:

When specifying an IFS (Integrated File System) file, the path can be
either absolute (beginning with /)
or relative.
– The path can be enclosed in single or double quotes. If the path
contains blanks, it must be enclosed
in quotes.
– If the path does not end with a suffix (for example ".txt"), the
compiler will search for the file as
named, and also for files with suffixes of ".rpgle" or ".rpgleinc".

I have no experience with sources in stream files, but it appears that it
should be simple enough.

/copy for IFS source

I'm looking at WDSLtoRPG to create a web service client program in RPG.
I'm not really asking about this process, suffice to say, it puts some
rpgle copy source in an IFS directory. I'd like to use /copy compiler
directives to get that source, but I have to use the INCDIR compiler
directive, because I can't figure out how to specify an IFS path on
the /copy directive. I don't really like have to have a special compile
string. I'd like to either have it on the /copy directive, or somehow
have
the equivalent of INCDIR in header specs (something else I can't seem to
find). Anyone have any experience with this?
