Here is the additional code I used to get formula evaluator to work.

This would be in addition to the basic hssfr4 stuff used in magazine article examples.
If you need more, let me know - I can provide the whole sample program.
Caveat, it's really woven into our system and you will need to scrape off the 'chaff'. <g>
