Or the even simpler (RPG only) solution:

dcl-s myTimestamp Timestamp Inz;

myTimestamp = %Timestamp(%Date());

Dsply ('Timestamp is set to ' + %Char(myTimestamp) );

*InLR = *On;

You'll see when you run this that the time portion is set to all zeros when only the date portion is supplied.
