Hi group,

We recently moved from our old V5R3 system to a brand new V7R1 one.

One of the issues we encountered was that we needed to change a command default in CRTSQLRPGI (RPGPPOPT) to be able to compile.

Now I noticed that apparently we should also have updated the COMMIT parameter to *NONE because programs are not behaving the same as before. We don't use commitment control, FWIW.

Migrated programs (compiled back on our V5R3 system, restored on V6R1 and then upgraded to V7R1) do work correctly, it's only the newly compiled ones that exhibit an issue when doing embedded SQL inserts etc.

Is there a way to update the COMMIT parameter for existing programs, or should I recompile all SQLRPGLE programs that were created on our new dev system?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Met vriendelijke groeten / Best regards,
