If you can find enough like-minded [possibly deep-pocketed] people who are willing to pay for the capabilities [IMO, doubtful], ask IBM for a Programming Request for Price Quotation (PRPQ) as a means to add the capability; perhaps as an additional OPTION for the LPP. Or perhaps [Toronto's equivalent of] Lab Services would be willing to make a deal under contract to provide that support if they feel they can recoup their pay with such an offering; possibly only after pre-selling or reselling that already-expensed work, so again, likely multiple willing buyers would have to be lined-up.

For me... I would be content with just excluding the occasional lines with diagnosed syntax errors [until I eventually force-off the errors using a change and reset to the source type or until I exited and optionally restarted editing; in either case, those lines are no longer new or updated lines and thus are no longer being diagnosed as errors, regardless the syntax-checking remains in effect].

Regards, Chuck
