When I say 'try to use the hssfr4' I'm referring to programs that have been running
fine for almost a year now.

I'm suddenly getting this error when i try to use the hssfr4 service program.

It looks like it's suddenly not finding some java piece it needs.

org.apache.poi.ss.usermodel.WorkbookFactory" when calling method "create"
with signature

the method name and signature. If the signature is not correct, change the
RPG prototype for the method, or change the Java method, so that the return
type and parameter types match. You can determine the signatures for all the
methods in class XYZ using command QSH CMD('javap -s XYZ').

I tried the javap thing and got this -

$
javap -s org.apache.poi.ss.usermodel.WorkbookFactory
The java.version property was detected as input. This property is used
ERROR:Could not find org.apache.poi.ss.usermodel.WorkbookFactory
$

ANY help is appreciated -- there are production things that need to be run very soon and I'm no java guru.

A guy here was trying to install something else, not related to poi, that uses java, afaik that 'may' be the only thing that has changed.

I'm using POI36 and the SETENV program in the POI36 library - OS version is 7.1.
