I believe you are thinking about the INDDS(myDsName) keyword on the

You also need the INDDS keyword in the DDS.

This gives you a separate set of indicators unique to the printer or
display file.

For DDS the kwd is the INDARA file-level keyword.

From "What's new for v4r2:"
File Description Specification keyword: INDDS( data_structure_name)
"The INDDS keyword lets you associate a data structure name with the INDARA indicators for a workstation or printer file."

A link from the above [also found with InfoCenter search: INDARA INDDS]:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v7r1m0/topic/rzasd/sc092508462.htm#findds
_i INDDS(data_structure_name) i_
"The INDDS keyword lets you associate a data structure name with the INDARA indicators for a workstation or printer file. This data structure contains the conditioning and response indicators passed to and from data management for the file, and is called an indicator data structure.

Rules:

* This keyword is allowed only for externally described PRINTER files and externally and program-described WORKSTN files.
