We use two data structures.

One with the screen fields and one with the database fields.

After reading the screen, we compare the data structures.

How to know whether some field value is changed in a display file?

I have a display file with some 25 fields( not a subfile). When user
just hit enter, without any editing,i dont want to do database update.
So basically i want to find whether something is changed. Since i have
many fileds, comparing each one with thd database value seems to be
difficult...any other approach?pls help.....

Regards
Nisha
