Supported but not enhanced = phased out.

Somewhere between 2004 and 2005 somebody in IBM decided there was not
enough interest (became "Strategic").

VARPG is event driven and NOT object oriented but is 99% compliant with
ILE RPG V5R4.

On the IBM i 6.1 Info Center I noticed VisualAge is apparently still
supported. I'm curious to know what kind of business solutions
people may be currently using this for. How does it compare/contrast
with EGL ? My assumption is Visual Basic, C# and .Net would be
a better set of tools.
