First of all there was no need to use the *ISO date field - why not simply target the fields in the PF with the %Date() directly?

As to what's going on - there is a "missing piece" - you haven't told us how you are checking.

In order to preserve format your best bet is to define an externally defined DS using the PF as the source and then read the records. I'm certain you will find that they all have exactly the format they should have.
