Took out the changes to the concatenating to create the parmschvalue contents.

''%DAY%' ' is now '%DAY% '.

Declare SQL now looks like:

DECLARE tableGET CURSOR WITH RETURN TO CLIENT FOR SELECT * FROM TABLEVW1 WHERE UPPER ( CLASSDESC ) LIKE CASE WHEN '%DAY% ' <> ' ' AND 'Y' = 'Y' THEN '%DAY% ' ELSE UPPER ( CLASSDESC ) END AND UPPER ( CLASSCODE ) LIKE CASE WHEN '%DAY% ' <> ' ' AND 'Y' = 'N' THEN '%DAY% ' ELSE UPPER ( CLASSCODE ) END;

And it successfully ran as a standalone SQL statement. But fails within the program.

Steve,

Could you post your SQL statement as iNav sees it, i.e., with the full
value of your variables (without the ":")?
