Ah yes... the ole "Messaging From\To program information is derived at DSPJOBLOG time rather than reflecting the name of the program at the time the message was sent\received [because the sender\receiver objects are tracked in the job message queue by address vs by name]".

Imagine how frustrating to review a failure in a joblog of job running during a PTF application [even the PTF application job itself can be a challenge] with all those renamed\moved objects ;-) and sometimes even worse, if the joblog was not taken until after someone had done CLRLIB QRPLOBJ so that many program names appear as *N instead! I many times had wished the names had been stored [instead], and those names used instead; just not worth it I suppose, given how rarely that should be an issue. I would trudge my way through, and likely followup such difficult investigations with unas cervezas :-)
