I agree,
to write the formulas in free format is as easy as writing tham for excel, maybe yuo can even copy and paste the original. Once thay are debuged, the RPG formulas will be far more reliable than the excel ones.

The Excel has query capabilities, and the Query can access the server with stored procedures, and the RPG can be registered to the SQL on the server as External stored procedures and External functions, so could that be a means for "the reverse" such that all of the calculations would be able to be defined and performed at the server?
