To put it in a metaphor "no human being can view a 360 degree horizon at

time" you need a mechanism to turn around - the same goes for a RPGLE
program
that can handle terespaces but only can see 64K at the time.

Scan/replace gets more complicated when you at the same time as scanning
what's
in view has to move the binocular directed to the horizon as you proceed.

But it isn't impossible
