Re: Test a field for specific values only

%CHECK will test for the existance of a value but it won't test if
other values are present.

The easiest way to do it:

for n = 1 to 20;
select;
when %subst(n:1) = 'A';
doAstuff;
when %subst(n:1) = 'N';
doNstuff;
other;
ErrorRoutine;
endsl;
endfor;
