Anyone have any ideas?

Certainly the spooled joblog with *SECLVL details will show all of the standard details for the SQL0901 and preceding error(s) which were omitted from the description of the problem. Likely the error message MCH3601 will be to an IBM i operating system program, thus the meaning of the -901 is that the OS has failed to perform properly. If so, then when other components of the OS fail, would similar effort be made to figure out what the HLL program was doing wrong, or would the issue be reported to the service provider for the OS software?
