How about putting the PI in the /copy wrapped around a /IF DEFINED(program) compiler directive. Then the called program includes /DEFINE program so it doesn't have to list the PI in the program. Callers don't need any /DEFINE. If the interface ever changes the source code to be changed is all in the /copy.

Would be great if a predefined condition was available like /IF PROGRAM(name) so the called program didn't need to include a /DEFINE.
