I think we agree on the possible opportunities OA offers. I would say your greater experience working with the product has given you a better feel for what it can/can't do.

I wasn't expecting much from OA, but I felt it important that we at least give it a run out. It isn't much of an expense and nothing ventured, nothing gained!

So far I've been quite impressed. We have only worked with PF files so far. We will move onto DSPF files next. This is where I need most convincing. I'm still not sure how the write/read paradigm of the EXFMT sits with the request/response paradigm of the web browser. They just seem fundamentally different. So that is the challenge for me. Which is interesting because almost all hype of the around OA is about the workstation enablement, and that is probably the last thing I can see where we would get any benefit.
But hey, the vendors have managed to get it to work. If it keeps a few people on the i for a few more years then good luck to them!
