Call me short sighted, but what's with the facination with printing search
results? Can't you just look at it on the screen??? If you really need
them printed you could always copy/paste them to a source member and print
that couldn't you?

Just my $.02, but I have found that using the PDM option 25 (or the
command
FNDSTRPDM) is much faster than the similar scan in RDi, and has the extra
advantage that you can print a list of source members that match your find

criteria.
Granted, RDi has the added ability to create a filter crossing
multiple files
and members, but then you still have no way to print your results.

"I suggest you try option 55 for sure - you might be surprised at how
good it is. I'm all for using the graphical stuff, but this one is
really handy for things I've needed to do."

+1

PDM option 55 is the only use I have for PDM as it's the only thing
RDP/WDSCi cannot do as well as PDM option 55 - and I do have the soft
landing plugins installed and try to use them but PDM 55 is still king for

large programs!
