(sorry, but I keep thinking this is the kind of problem I generally have, and with me, every time it turns out to be a typo or typo-like error.)

Have you tried copy and pasting the code from your e-mail back into another source member and repeating the process?

Can you use DSPLY (or similar) instead of debug? That way you know if it is a debugger issue.)

What would you expect tempvar to get set to? I think it would be "Data"
but I would be wrong. It gets blanks, at least on my system.
