What works best for my users when the subfile has no records is to fill some description field with a relevant phrase like

FIELD = x'32' + 'No records to display. Are all of your filters on?';

and write that one one subfile record.

I have an program that displays records in a subfile and it works great,

EXFMT when I have no records to display so I am wondering if there is
other logic I need to add so I can at least display the empty subfile
screen.

Thanks
