The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Another idea, especially if you want to leave your old report
programs almost unchanged, would be to use a special file(program) as your
input/primary.
You can generate an sql string, pass it to the special file program, and
have the special file program retrieve the data and return it 1 record at a
time so the cycle still works.

the report program can use externally defined files also.
