Use SFLEND(*SCLBAR) and there is no problem. It shows a scroll bar which, by the way, also allows a user to move a subfile one line at a time or to scroll several pages without using the page keys repetitively.

Hi,

Sorry to ask about this but as I create a subfile about once every 5 years I can never remember. It's time I understood it properly.

I don't get the explanation in the manual. I have a small subfile that I load completely, but as it is in a window I could easily have two or three pages with only 3 or 4 rows per page. In my program I haven't touched the SFLEND indicator at all. The "more" text shows all the time - even when there's only one row. How do I know when to set if on or off? I have SFLSIZ 5 and SFLPAG 4.

Thanks.
